½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
½ stick butter
1 medium jar of carrot baby food
1 cup flour
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 cup milk
Melt cheese and margarine in a saucepan, stirring frequently. Remove from heat, add carrots, flour, and garlic powder. Stir until blended. Add milk and form a ball. Transfer to a medium mixing bowl and set in fridge for one hour.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roll dough onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into ¼ inch thickness and cut into your favorite shapes. Bake for 20-30 minutes until golden brown. Cool on wire racks. Store in an airtight container in your refrigerator.

1 ¼ lbs. beef liver 2 cups wheat germ
2 tbsp. whole wheat flour 1 cup cooked barley
2 eggs ½ cup fresh garlic
1 tbsp olive oil
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Liquify liver and garlic in blender. Add eggs and blend until smooth. In separate bowl, combine wheat germ, whole wheat flour and cooked barley. Add liver mixture, olive oil, and salt. Mix well. Pour mixture into a 9×9 greased baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes until done. Let cool before slicing. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
